What’s so great about digital photography?
Digital photography, in the general since, is about control that was not available historically to photographers. Digital cameras allow us to take as many photographs of a particular subject as we like for a very small per frame cost. Digital photography allows instant feedback making it an excellent teaching tool. Computers allow us, not a photo lab technician, to push our images further than a traditional silver gelatin darkroom every could. The proliferation of digital cameras have “democratized” photography and make it possible for everyone to enjoy this art form. Advances in inkjet printing and photographic web services put more output (photographic prints, books, etc ), for less cost, in your hands then ever before.
Most importantly, its just plain fun!
